Chps 1,2,3
For N645, Dr. Beaman assigned us to put together a beginning attempt at an Intro, Lit Review, and Methods sections. I'm still waiting for her very much appreciated red ink, but in the meantime, this will provide a good idea for the direction I am headed....

On Facebook, I already have a group of about 120 grads, most within past 5 years. For part of the study/thesis, I hope to be able to include a review of how social media can help faculty track and solicit feedback from alumni. Ideally, classes would be encouraged to subscribe to an official csusb nursing page while in school. Since not implemented and not wanting to wait for new policy to reap the numbers needed, this approach should help provide a large number of responses fairly quickly.
I like utilizing the poster idea if I can get a dozen or so alumni to unofficially post flyers in their own breakrooms directing people to the Social media groups. We could also encourage word of mouth among co-workers.
Since the study will be heavy stats, I've asked Margaret to be chair ad she has been involved for the theory discovery process.
